David Cruz Group 2 Reflection

 Our Group had a very interesting topics we talked about  communicating in groups , like Group Communication, family groups, social groups , support groups and interest groups, virtual groups and also healthy groups .I really enjoyed working with my group because we all bond really well and we always help each other and  our group leader Jess is such a great leader she is always there we need help. And i really like our presentation.




We all did an amazing job , and we each presented our slides. My slide was about healthy groups  which are a group formed around  a constructive purpose and characterized by ethical goals,  interdependence, cohesiveness, productive norms, accountability and synergy. i also think that  the other groups presented really great too and that everyone did an amazing job , i liked how we all added youtube videos and pictures as well as we each explain our slides and talk about the video we added in the slide, and i liked how our group read our pages and pick the important points and definitions in our slides.  And I also gave examples of healthy groups for example an orchestra ,  a basketball team ( the Miami heat) and a film crew . 

In another slide I gave examples of Scientists  and a band the group Queen. Each group gave examples of what they talked about in their slides.  Another thing I really liked was that our group leader  Jess helped us move our slides and the other leaders of other groups did too.  Also I like our Professor Sherri graded  us and how she loved our presentations.  also like when the other group talked about social groups and virtual groups , since we all are doing online classes it was really interesting  hearing about that .






I also really liked group 1 presentations where they talked about Communication Perspectives, Communication is the process through which we express, interpret and coordinate messages with each other. and Group 2 Presented about Interpersonal communication, and impersonal communication . So I really enjoyed doing our PowerPoints and seeing each group presenting .

Group 2 Presentation Reflection

In our speech class we spoke about how COVID 19 has affected family dynamics, education and mental health. We discussed about the differences pre-COVID and the impact it has now made to society. One of the biggest impacts was on college students and how their mental health was greatly affected during these times. Over 185 countries and resulted in the closure of over 90 percent of all schools, colleges and universities impacting close to 1.38 billion students. This was was a very informative and important topic because it is an issue that impacted us and continues to impact us day by day, especially students who are already overwhelmed in being on virtual classes because it affects the way these students learn and has no comparison with face-to-face classes, this year has been one of the hardest years for me and my family because of all the changes we had on top of the pandemic.
