Group 2 reflection
Our group had an interesting topic that has become important in this day in age. It was surprisingly interesting and to be able to work and bounce ideas off of each other; it was refreshing to have something close to a class dynamic. The way the group was ran was like a well oiled machine, maybe I am being bias. The way that our group leader, Jess, was delegating tasks was impressive to say the least. The fact the she was able to step up to the plate and knock it out of the park, my hats comes off for her. Honestly, all of the members did a great job presenting, it felt like they knew what they were going to talk about by heart. Group 2 presentation was about communication in groups, the first three slides were about family groups and how some family dynamic like a nuclear 2 parent house hold. The family dynamic has a lot interesting little parts, like family communication theory. The second three slide were about nature and social groups, it also talks about the type of smaller groups within these three slides; some of the groups are social-friends groups, AA support groups, service- non-profit or volunteer. The social groups are what we call our friend groups that help us get through things, for example ''a group that genuinely cares for each others welfare and enjoy each others company." The friend groups are very useful to the fact that they encourage each other and make you feel loved. The support group are super useful because they help you build a good habit especially if you are going through a hard time and want to talk to people that have gone through the same thing. Their are other groups like clubs that are based on your hobby for example the movie club or anime club or book club, it is like minded people coming together to interact about something they all like. At the same time you here cultivating a community that all have one common interest. Are next three slides were about service groups for example ''Is composed of people who come together to perform hands on charitable works or to raise money to help organizations. There are service groups that pride them self's on having the ability to create a community. Their are also work group and teams, the work groups are composed of three or more people to complete a task.
