    we were all assigned to present one of the first three chapter of the course. group 2 presented chapter 9, the chapter about different types of groups. the group did an excellent job of explaining the chapter in a way that is understandable for everyone in the class. Group 1 also did an excellent job, providing clear information as well as videos and photos for a better understanding. Group 3 had some difficulty in presentation and display, but overall did a good job handling those difficulties by acting professional in the time of "panic". Every presentation came with their difficulties though, not just group 3. Every group was respectful towards their peers and handled any situation in a professional and calm manner. All the participants in each group also had their parts evenly split between each group, so no one looked like they did more work than the other. Everything was fairly spread out and flowed effortlessly from student to student in each group. Overall, for a first presentation, everyone did an amazing job in presenting their chapters.

The presentation had really hit home with me like im pretty it sure it did with most of my group cause we are experiencing it  together. David Cruz Group 2 Reflection

  Our Group had a very interesting topics we talked about  communicating in groups , like Group Communication, family groups, social groups , support groups and interest groups, virtual groups and also healthy groups .I really enjoyed working with my group because we all bond really well and we always help each other and  our group leader Jess is such a great leader she is always there we need help. And i really like our presentation. We all did an amazing job , and we each presented our slides. Group 2 Presentation Reflection

In our speech class we spoke about how COVID 19 has affected family dynamics, education and mental health. We discussed about the differences pre-COVID and the impact it has now made to society. One of the biggest impacts was on college students and how their mental health was greatly affected during these times. Over 185 countries and resulted in the closure of over 90 percent of all schools, colleges and universities impacting close to 1.38 billion students. This was was a very informative and important topic because it is an issue that impacted us and continues to impact us day by day, especially students who are already overwhelmed in being on virtual classes because it affects the way these students learn and has no comparison with face-to-face classes, this year has been one of the hardest years for me and my family because of all the changes we had on top of the pandemic.
