Jessica Mayea Group 2 Reflection

 Presentation reflection

Every group did an amazing job in presenting their chapters and in executing everything. Group one did their presentation  on Intercultural Communications. This topic dealt with culture, beliefs, and peoples attitudes towards other cultures. this is a very relevant topic today and its important to know how to respect and understand peoples race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and so on and to not judge and be kind. Group one did an amazing job in presenting this topic; they knew their material well and spoke from the heart rather then simply rephrasing what the book already told us. Their organization and perfect use of examples really hit it out of the park and covered every bit of the chapter beautifully. Overall group one was my favorite presentation and did a 10/10 job.

The next group was my group: group 2. We did our presentation on communication and how it differs and affects different groups. The group took turns explaining some characteristics of groups and different types of conflicts within certain types of groups. Overall this group did a great job at presenting and holding their end of the presentation, everyone submitted everything on time and were well organized with their information and presented the slides very well. I am proud of them and their hard work on this presentation.

The last group to present was Group three. The last topic presented was about Group Leadership and Problem Solving. They explained how to have effective meetings and different guidelines for meeting leaders and participants. At first, the group was struggling to prepare their presentation and were a bit disorganized but pulled through in the end and gave us a pretty good presentation overall.

Communication and these topics are very important for us and understanding them can play a very important roll in understanding and being respectful towards each other. Learning these topics to communicate with our friends, families, and let us meet new people from different parts of the world. whether its verbal or non-verbal language, learning these things is vital in our everyday life and these presentations displayed to us perfect ways to learn communication and how to properly interact in certain places.
