Group 2 Reflection

Our presentation was about how COVID-19 affected students' education, how parents were impacted, how it affected them mentally, physically, and financially, and how students and teachers have had to adapt to the new system. By the end of March 2020, the pandemic had spread to over 185 countries and resulted in the closure of over 90 percent of all schools, colleges and universities impacting close to 1.38 billion students. I think it was a very interesting and important topic because it is something that impacted us and continues to affect us day by day, especially students who are already tired of seeing virtual classes because it has no comparison with face-to-face classes, it has been a very difficult year for all of us and we try to see the positive side of the situation. The speed of the spread of the pandemic, the closure of higher education institutions and the transition to online teaching was so swift that it hardly gave any time to plan and to reflect on the potential risks or the potential opportunities that such a sudden change could bring. My group and I provide sources of essential information that explain in detail the circumstances that students have experienced during this time.

I consider that we did a good job as the presentations of my other classmates, every work we do as a team we put effort into it and we try to make it as perfect as possible, the only thing I did not like in our presentation is that we added a lot of videos and the presentation became a bit boring and repetitive but despite that we explain what has really happened since the pandemic began and how it has affected us as students.

I am happy to be in this class because we are always interacting with each other, my group and I try to be better and better in each presentation we do.  Our group leader is always there ready to help and guide us and I really appreciate it because any questions I have had she has always helped me.
